The interviews that we have recorded make up the heart of the Exeter Pride Heritage Project. We tried to reflect the diversity of the LGBT+ community in Exeter by including neurodiverse people, people of colour, different age ranges, sexualities, genders and disabilities.

The majority of interviews took place in the summer of 2023. For some interviewees who I recorded 2022 had been their first ever pride whilst others (like alan who was one of the founders of exeter pride) have been there since the beginning.
